Entertainment with 3D DVDs |
|
Truly, the industry of three dimensional technologies has been growing throughout its thriving years. A lot of different pieces of equipment to enhance the experience of 3D viewing have been released in the market. Examples of which include 3D TV converters, 3D DVD players and 3D glasses.
Many of you might not be interested of the 3d industry since even though this is booming, the number of 3D movies released can still be counted on your fingers. But don’t wait until it becomes so phenomenon because you will be expecting a lot more movies to come as years pass by.
However, if you already tried watching a 3D movie, you would definitely ask for more and expect more enhancements to come. So if you are the kind of person who loves movies, you might give some chances on 3D DVDs and its supplementary equipment such as those that are mentioned earlier, that would give more life to movies, giving you that wonderful feeling of satisfaction and animation.
3D glasses technology are divided into two categories. There are active glasses which contain electronics that interacts with a certain display, and the second is the passive glasses. Active glasses can be liquid crystal shutter and red eye shutter glasses. The first one contains liquid crystal which enables the blocking or passing the light synchronizing it with the images seen in the computer. The alternate-frame sequencing is the concept used in this process.
On the other hand, the red eye shutter glasses causes the reduction of ghosting as a result of the slow decaying of the colored blue and green P22-type of phosphors which is commonly used in traditional CRT monitors. The second category which is the passive glasses, the linearly polarized glasses is used. In this method, there are two forms of imagery being projected into the same screen through some special filters. As a result, the motion picture presents more visual illusion compared to others.
This kind of glasses necessitates the person viewing the film to always maintain his head level. The sloping of the filters responsible for the viewing may cause the imagery seen from the right and left outlet to bleed going to another channel. For that reason, the viewers would automatically learn on keeping their heads tilted.
If you are worried because your DVD player and TV are not 3D ready, then you still have some available options. You can look for friends or other relatives who own one, or try to borrow from a local library if it is available.
However, if you own a 3D DVD player but have a traditional TV, you can still experience the high quality of viewing by using those shutter glasses. But if you already have a two dimensional DVD player, you just have to purchase or even download a software which allows the conversion of the customary two dimensional movies to three dimensional DVDs. It would be a lot easier and much convenient. You don’t need to wait for so long until you can watch a 3D movie in any theaters.
